Yoga is for everybody. For at least 5000 years, yoga has been helping people to develop stronger, more flexible bodies and achieve stillness of mind. In this class you will learn 5 principles of yoga (proper exercise, breathing, relaxation, diet and meditation) and the 3 A’s: Attitude, Alignment and Action. Learn to perform the fundamental poses with ease!
This class offers modifications, adjustment, various yoga styles and fun, Yoga philosophy. Release toxins and undo the effects of prolonged sitting, screen-staring and shallow breathing. This focus on movement, breathing exercises and meditation helps develop our connection to our inner knowing that is always present. The class ends with Savasana, personal time for deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra, meaning “yogic sleep” is occasionally offered – a quiet and introspective pause to listen to the inner voice. Suitable for beginners building their yoga foundation, as well as for long-term practitioners developing a sustainable practice through detailed asana instruction, Pranayama (breathing exercises for health) and meditation theory. Mantra is available upon request. The poses in the class will vary each week.
